Sleeve Notes from The Nutty Boys "Crunch" Album

It's a funny old world really particually in music
Buisness. Every year thousands of records released
that go unheeded and unwanted by the record buying
public. Unwanted that is until they are no longer
available. Then for some strange reason up goes the
demand (not to mention the price) copies of the
records become much sourght after collectors items
carrying exorbatant price tags.

The turn of the decade saw a tremendous demand for
these long since forgotten records You have here in
your grasp a collection of previosly unreleased
infectious hypnotic educational cuts that it would
be sacrilege to deny!

It's a common saying in england
that the music today is rubbish. On most radio stations
music of the sixties and seventies dominate the airplay
a disc jockey was recently quoted thus "the music of
today is nothing the artistry is gone the lyrics are
poor and montonous yesterdays music portrayed todays
england"

Today you hear a hundred songs and all they say is
but sweet nothings in a thousand different ways.
They don't tell a story and have lost the international
fame that the music of yesterdays men have achieved
straddled twixt the globe like a mighty collosus.

Oh what fun you will have when you listen to this work
the memories of bygone days will come flooding back
in a torrent of expert craftmanship

" since music be the food of love forever play on, they
have used guns to spoil the fun forced tasteless and
meaningless music upon the land they have turned heaven
into hell and even my god is angry they shall give an
account of their sins on the day of judgement"

Introducing the Nutty Boys

They are simply the nicest guys i've ever had the pressure
to meet warm sincere and enthusiastically friendly with
interesting conversation that is light adn dryly humored
and with the next breath serious and thoughtfull on any
variety of topics. On stage no artist has yet matched their
sheer professiomalism enhanced with a seductive stage
that only Thompson posesses.

However nowdays personal apperances by liquidators first
men of riddup sound are far and few between and they only
marginally tap their tremendous overall talents. The nutty
boys have brilliantly imaginative lyrics that are complimented
perfectly by sensitive and melodic music of the highest calibre.

The nutty boys have been with link more or less from day one
and after a few false starts have emerged as one of the worlds
leading songwriting teams with a string of million sellers
to their credit, in fact with each record release nowdays
they are pratically guaranteed a gold disc on advance orders alone.

Such is the status of the nutty boys now but let's remind
ourselves how these boys were born.
Lee Thompson is somewhat unusall talent whose delivery borders
on the bluesy bathtub sound perhaps that is why his style blends
so natually with Chris "boy" Foreman's arrangements and uptight
orchestrations this frisky aggresiveness is featured on every tune
that is how it should be they can bridge that mysterious
"generation gap" by appealing equally to teenagers and adults alike.
Each song is approached with lustfull stamina ambition and verve
in much the same way that they (the nutty boys) exist.

A "Magic Carpet" will sweep you up in a strong chugga chugga bang
bang mood and before you know it you'll be snapping fingers to a
"Pipe Dream" and yelling "Yeah!" at their scatterbrain treatment of
"People" have "you got it" yet? the uncontrolable anger that is
"The Innocent" leaves you standing damp and in a dilemma "Crunch"
is a handsome portrait of two youthful artistes on their continuing
voyage to the top.

This album has been anxiosly awaited by their vast and seemingly
ageless legion of fans who still write tributes from all parts
of the world where they have appeared.

It is my sincere belief that the Nutty Boys "Crunch" is more than
enough to propel them the plush club circuit of never ending star
spangled "Daydreamers" truly they are and forever will be
